Master Compressor Extreme W-Alarm Limited Edition
This limited series of 100 pieces celebrates the centenary of the famous British car manufacturer. Its dial represents the radiator grille of an Aston Martin. Two useful functions are combined in this ideal watch for world travellers: the simultaneous display of the 24 time zones, and a double-patented alarm function.
The alarm time display in hours and minutes is extremely easy to read, thanks to two interlocking discs at 9 o’clock. The case is fitted with a shock absorber, and there is a system of interchangeable wristbands. A second sports-style wristband is included in the presentation case.
AMVOX5 World Chronograph Cermet
This new versions of the AMVOX5 is made of Cermet, the revolutionary high-tech material composed of an aluminium core and ceramic particles, covered with a protective ceramic coating, and it is characterised by the classic Aston Martin colours: black, anthracite, white and red. Case diameter is 44 mm. Limited Edition of 500 pieces.
Master Hometime Aston Martin
With its Aston Martin-inspired design, this aesthetic reinterpretation with a sportier look displays a satin-finish middle strip and a black dial. It features a symmetry between 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock to create a more perfect harmony. Its two time zones are easy to read, the reference time being indicated by a skeletonised hand. Its ingenious travel time zone system can be rapidly adjusted with the crown and is synchronised with the date. Its automatic movement incorporates all the qualities of a strong, accurate automatic calibre.
Inspired by the Aston Martin Vanquish, the design of the AMVOX7 is the ultimate in refinement. This new titanium case features satin-finished lugs which lend a dynamic touch to the watch. The grid on the dial directly mirrors the grille of these exceptional cars. Its functions associate the automobile world with that of Haute Horlogerie. The AMVOX7 Chronograph is inspired by the latest Aston Martin, the Vanquish, launched in June 2012.
Suggested by visible levers at 6 o’clock, an ingenious pivoting mechanism allows the functions of the chronograph to be operated simply by pressing on the watch crystal. The chronograph function can be started or stopped by pressing the watch glass at 12 o’clock, while pressing at 6 o’clock resets to zero.
In addition, Jaeger has had a line of watches called the Transpoder in its AMVOX2 collection. The watches can activate and deactivate the locking system of the Aston Martin cars; for the DBS, DB9, and Rapide.
Each watch incorporates a miniature transmitter system serving to lock and unlock the respective Aston Martin sports car, while maintaining the functions of the famous pushpiece-free chronograph. The miniaturization of the transponder module, along with its wiring and its transmitter antenna have been completely redesigned from a watchmaking perspective. The development required over 18 months by Jaeger-LeCoultre with intense collaboration from Aston Martin.
Only Aston Martin dealerships will be able to authorize the timepiece to communicate with the owner’s specific car, thus ensuring security at all times.
Watchmaking technology, Amvox2 Transponder
The antenna is metallized on the inside of the sapphire crystal, and is connected to the locking control contact rectangles. The automotive functionalities are facilitated by touch-sensitive technology. Each part of the transponder has been miniaturized.
